Makeup and lighting techniques will be discussed to show how to compensate or accentuate features. Students will have models provided and will be instructed on two beauty looks to be photographed digitally. Images will be brought up on the computer for analysis and critique. Shots will be burnt to a disc and given to the student. One image will be chosen, professionally retouched and printed for the student’s portfolio. A demonstration of post production retouching will be provided to show students what happens to their work after the shoot.
This class is an ideal way to get images for your portfolio while learning about the process and techniques used to obtain quality results. This class is an invaluable way to gain insights to the photographic process from casting through postproduction. This knowledge will allow a student be less in the dark to photographer and therefore increase their chances of controlling the results and ensuring their effort is captured beautifully. Even if students are beginning to take their own pictures of their work, this class will show beauty light and techniques with technical information to help them understand how to capture images at the best quality available.
