Explore how to work behind the scenes in these exciting categories! For the runway section, artists will plan various runway looks and Tobi will discuss the ins and outs of working a show and in what capacity. The music video section will focus on the necessary skills required of the artist to work in this medium, as well as working with stars and background talent either as an assistant or Key. Lecture will include steps necessary to breaking into Music Videos or Runway, Portfolio/Resume requirements, the ART of Assisting, How to read a treatment, How to work a fashion show either designing or assisting. What to do to prepare yourself, step by step instruction for a 14 hour music video work day, viewing of videos. Explanation of the differences between them all - Rock, Rap, commercial, promotional, etc. Viewing of fashion shows and explanation. The demonstration and hands on section will be of video and runway makeups chosen by the Makeup Class.
